Part-Time, Non-Tenure Track Positions—The Department of Life Sciences occasionally employs adjunct faculty to teach courses and/or laboratories. Qualified individuals (must have at least 18 hours of graduate study in the appropriate teaching area) who are interested in being considered for adjunct faculty positions should submit a cover letter (with current contact information), a C.V. or résumé and (unofficial) copies of transcripts to:

Graduate: There are many Research Centers and Federal and State Government Agencies with offices on campus which work with faculty to offer a wide spectrum of opportunities for field and laboratory investigations. Most biology graduate students are supported by Research Assistantships and/or Teaching Assistantships.
Research Assistantships—Students with research assistantships are paid for conducting research in a faculty member's laboratory. Students seeking research assistantships should look at the LSCI Faculty List to find faculty members whose research interests are similar to theirs.
