Question: What happened to the Department of Physical and Life Sciences (PALS)?

Answer: The tremendous growth of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (especially in the sciences), caused this department to become extremely large in recent years. To better serve students, faculty and staff, in fall 2006, this large department split into two smaller ones: the Department of Life Sciences (LSCI) and the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences (PENS).

Question: I want a career in health-care. Can I begin such a career at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi?

Answer: Yes! We have several ways that Pre-Professional (Health) Students can begin their careers!
