Bachelor of Science in Biology:
Plant Biology Track

This track focuses on the natural history, ecology, structure and function of plants. Examples of careers available to students choosing this track are:

• Core Degree Requirements for the Biology Program—28 SCH

In addition, students will complete at least 45 semester credit hours of course work in the Plant Biology Track. Nineteen semester credit hours are required plant biology core courses; the other twenty-six hours are plant biology electives. A student (in consultation with his or her Faculty Mentor and Academic Advisor) selects appropriate electives to personalize the Blank Plant Biology Track Degree Plan. Important Note: Laboratory Safety Seminar (SMTE 0091) is a co-requisite course for all courses in the Department of Life Sciences that have a laboratory component.
